If you have an Instagram account, I’m almost certain you might have seen these beautiful stamped book sets! They’re gorgeous and I think make such a great gift or decor for your own house. They’re in line with the farmhouse style in my opinion.
These would make a great Mother’s Day gift, baby shower gift, birthday gift, or Christmas gift. There are so many different sayings you could put on these. Birth stats would be cool as a gift for a new mom. You could do a baby’s name and the meaning of it. You could also do just the baby name but only put 1 letter on each book vertically (letter goes at top). And for Christmas, you could do all the wonderful sayings for that time of year. Bible verses would also be cool. The ideas are endless.
I decided to create a video tutorial (also below) on how I make these. They are so EASY and so AFFORDABLE. All you really need are:
1. Stamps
2. Stamp/Ink Pad
3. Books
4. Optional (twine to bind the books, flowers, leaves, or any other decor you might want to decorate them with).
This is what I decided to do for my mom:
All 4 of her kids and the year they were born! You could do just the birthdays as well. Grandkids is also an option.
Here is the video on how you can make them yourself. Let me know if you try these!

What kind of letter stamps do you use on your books? The brand name?
JoyfullyPrudent says
I use the Recollections brand. I found them at Michaels and used my 40% coupon.

What size are your stamps?
Karen says
Is there a link to the stamps somewhere?
JoyfullyPrudent says
I couldn’t find them online. I would have linked them but didn’t find anything similar. I’m sure any craft store would have them.
Loretta says
I found these at Michaels which look like the ones you used.

Could you tell me the measurements of the letter itself? I’m finding really small letter stamps. Not large like yours. Thanks for any info! Thanks for the tutorial!

I am considering making these for my family as Christmas gifts and possible for a few surprise birthday and anniversary gifts. What type of paint is best to use with these?
Candy says
Did you paint any of these books first? If not, should one paint them first then let dry before stamping?

I painted my books with water based paint. My ink won’t dry. Any suggestions?
JoyfullyPrudent says
Hmm I’m not sure. I used a flat paint so maybe that made a difference. What sheen was it?
