Things are moving along and I officially can’t wait to have the baby, physically that is. My body hurts so much more this time around. I’m chalking it up to being older and way busier than I was with the other 2 pregnancies.
I just realized I haven’t updated since 26 weeks!!!! And here’s a little life update I posted yesterday.
Here is my 32 week picture…welcome to the ever-swelling Olivia!
How far along? 32 weeks 5 days…(due date is October 7th)!
Total weight gain/loss? 20 pounds (as of my Tuesday appointment). Side note: I gained 42 pounds with #1 and 36 pounds with #2, but I started heavier with this one.
How big is baby? Size of a a jicama (about 16.7 inches long) and weighs about 3 pounds 12 oz. She weighed 3 lbs 11 oz at my 30 week appointment, so she’s a little above average. Praying she’s my tiniest though.
Stretch marks? Yes, I’ve started to notice small ones along my lower back and near my belly button (weird). I remember last pregnancy I didn’t see any until after I had the baby and looked at my stomach in the hospital (I think it’s easier to see them once your belly isn’t stretched so much).
Sleep? I’m not sleeping well, but I am sleeping some. I’m typically a hard sleeper and don’t wake at all during the night. I now wake up 1-2 times to pee and about 2-3 times to turn over. I’m getting really bad pains in my outer hips when I sleep. Basically I’m tired all the time.
Fitness? I clean my house a lot! Honestly I think I burn more calories doing that than going to the gym. I haven’t been to the gym in a long time.
Best moment this week? Well, seeing her at 30 weeks on the sonogram was cool (Ryan got to go too). Otherwise, I’m really enjoying making over her room! Last time I updated, it was still the old nursery that was Maddox’s. It’s completely different now.
Miss anything? I miss being able to sit down without my lower stomach hurting (something is always digging into my tummy). I miss bending down to pick something off the ground normally. And I still miss deli turkey.
Food cravings? Diet Dr. Pepper, nothing healthy (literally, I don’t want to eat healthy food). I’m also craving Jimmy Johns Turkey Tom and a cold margarita (both because I probably can’t have one).
Anything making you queasy or sick? No, but lots of sugar gives me heartburn. I get heartburn more frequently now and it makes me feel like I’m about to throw up. Luckily, it doesn’t happen all day or everyday.
Current Symptoms? Same thing as before (BH contractions, swelling, and heartburn). My malasma is pretty prevalent too (dark patches on skin and my freckles are more noticeable). Last week I thought I was getting mastitis again during this pregnancy, but I never ended up getting a fever so I’m not really sure what it was. Mastitis usually comes with a high fever and flu like symptoms.
Belly button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On (can’t get them off).
Mood? Tired. Irritated easily, especially by my kids.
