Summer Vacation: Destin, Florida (Part 3)

Last week I shared Part 1 and Part 2 of our trip to Destin with the kids and my parents and niece/nephew. I’ve been knee deep in baby/toddler clothes the last few days getting ready for a consignment sale. I’m taking a break to finish posting about our vacation.

This was our fourth day in Destin and it started with another relaxing morning with coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Then we headed to the pool first.

My kids loved taking the floats and jumping onto them from the side.

After the pool, we headed upstairs to eat some lunch and rest a little.

This kid got to drink some Ginger Ale on the trip and he sure did enjoy it.

After lunch, we headed to this huge candy store that was right next to our condo.

The first thing this kid picked up was a soccer ball…I loved this of course!

Beckham really wanted us to buy him this ginormous gummy bear!

Happy after some candy

We decided to head to the beach one last time before dinner.

Maddox came over to me around 5 and asked to sit with me. Next thing I know, he was out! We had no nap schedule on vacation and this poor kid could not hang. I love snuggling him!

After the beach we hit up a hibachi grill! We’ve been to a hibachi grill before, but for some reason Maddox thoroughly enjoyed it and the joy he expressed was awesome!

He covered his ears when the chef started banging the spatulas on the grill.

And plugged his ears when they’re was a huge fire.

Look at that sweet face!

A family picture on our last night!

We all went back to the condo and tried packing up what we could before we had to leave the next morning.

One last picture from our balony. We woke up to rain and clouds…kind of the perfect day to leave.

Milk and cartoons before we head out.

We really enjoyed our stay here and cannot wait to go back. We chose to go all 12 hours on the way back and the drive was not bad at all!

Silly boys! They really did great. The trip seemed super short and next time we’ll have to stay 6+ nights. I’m so glad we could take the boys to the beach and enjoy some family time.

We only have a few weeks left before Beckham starts Kindergarten and only 11 weeks before Baby Girl gets here. We have TONS to do.
