Better late than never. I’m sitting at my desk looking like death, Kleenex everywhere, throat stinging, and coffee steaming. Ryan and Beckham went to church. I’m not sure if I have a cold or if it’s severe allergies, but being sick while pregnant is no fun…you have to just wait it out! Good thing is, while I sit here, Baby is kicking like crazy! Anyway, here are lots of pictures from this last week.
Day 50: Banana-Cinnamon pancakes on a Wednesday. It’s going to be a great day. I laugh at that statement because this day ended up being less than great! 🙂 At least the morning was good.
Day 51: Enjoying the park today! I’m sure another cold front will come in…maybe even snow. Sure enough it has…cold, then hot, cold, then hot…
Day 52: The day my friends, Kristen and Jennie, and I decided to take all 7 of our kids to Chick-fil-a…and we survived. Kristen has a 23 month old and 2 month old twins. Jennie just had her third and also had her 18 month old and 4 yr. old. A few more months and we’ll have 8 kids. We took up almost the entire middle section with kids, strollers, bags, etc. The kids actually had fun and we, girls, got to eat lunch. It was fun! Love these girls!
Day 53: Working on a Saturday.
Day 54: Sunday with my two favorite boys! Leaving church!
Day 55: The reason I love my current career. He’s also the reason I need that coffee at 2pm. Never thought I would be more tired as a SAHM than when I taught. Teaching is an incredibly taxing job and I for sure thought I wouldn’t be as tired…I know all you SAHM’s are laughing at me, especially those with multiple kids.
Day 56: Not even coffee helped my tiredness today. I cannot explain how tired I was. Beckham was at preschool for a few hours! I wrote about this day HERE.
Here are a few more pictures from this week (in order):
The day we started off with pancakes…we went to the gym and they called me back down after 15 minutes. Beckham just couldn’t handle it that day. Ugh! He sure is having a blast in the bathrooms drying his hands.
He loves wearing this bucket as a hat. He used to do this when he was 1 yr. old.
This is what I find on my phone after we shop somewhere. We were at Kohl’s looking for a purse. He tried on sunglasses and apparently needed to take 20 selfies.
My new leopard scarf from my birthday trip to Target. I love it.
This is what changing a 2 yr. old in a small car looks like. Potty training here we come.
40 pounds of chicken. We ordered from Zaycon Foods for the first time. You buy in bulk. It took us forever to trim and package individually, but now we have this sitting in our freezer…
I watched Harper after that Chick-fil-a lunch so Kristen could go to a doctor’s appointment with the twins. They were so cute together! They’re only a few months apart…he loves having a buddy to play with.
Date night with homemade popcorn on Friday! Hubby got home late and we watched a movie!
On Saturday, Ryan and B were walking to Kroger and saw this gem outside of Kid to Kid for 50% off Walmart’s price. He called me and I came up to pick it up. Although only the lid fit in my car, so Ryan walked home with the base. Beckham LOVES this sandbox.
Loving my little buddy on Sunday!
Ryan had a rare game on Sunday, so he was gone. This was the perfect afternoon…drinking coffee and eating peanut m&m’s (I’m hiding them from B), making a grocery list, while B plays in his sandbox.
This same afternoon as we were going inside, he came up to me and handed me a flower. I about died! I’ve never told him to give me a flower…it was so cute. He pretty much got whatever he wanted the rest of the day. #notreally
My favorite time each week…newly painted nails. This is the color I was telling you about in my nails post a couple weeks ago. Did NOT come out how the Pinterest picture showed, but still was cute.
Monday afternoon date at Baskin Robbins. I was actually going inside Starbucks and thought, let’s just pop in here and have a scoop of ice cream! These are the memories I will hold on to forever! I’m soaking up this one on one time with him before a new baby rocks our world.
He will NOT let me forget he needs his vitamins each morning.
Yearly dermatologist appointment on Tuesday! Routine mole check…I was clear! Yay! Unfortunately I was in the sun DAILY as a kid, as well as tanning beds when I was younger! And I’m fair-skinned and freckly. I do not touch the sun now days without sunscreen (even at the beach), nor do I step foot in a tanning bed. Make sure to get your yearly checks at the dermatologist! My dermatologist is the man!
Have a great week! I’ll be recouping on the couch as I run after a 2 yr. old! Joys of mommyhood!
