Whew, this mama is getting things done around here. Thank you notes…check. Updated budget…check. Grocery shopping…check. Nursery…check. Items for baby…check. Hospital bag (mostly)…check. Beckham’s bag…check. Baby’s bag…check. Appointments and calls made…check. Organized house (for the most part)…check. Banana bread for our sweet neighbor…check. Curtains for our kitchen (made by my MIL)…check. And I even snuck in some orders for some last minute requests. Always good to have more money. We also scheduled a full detail for my car before we install car seat for tomorrow, a maid service to come on Monday, carpets cleaned on Tuesday, and solar screens to be installed in a couple of weeks. To top it off, my mom is watching B tonight for us to enjoy a NICE dinner at a fancy steakhouse with a gift card they bought me for my birthday. I love a fancy dinner that’s FREE! We might see a movie too.
I painted my nails and straightened my hair so I’m actually officially read to have the baby. It’s funny because I’m stressing about my nails being done. I CAN’T stand chipped nail polish or bare nails, so I’m really hoping he shows up when my nails are done…who thinks about that?! Anyway, here’s my picture a day for last week. I agonized over which color to paint my nails when my oldest was born. It was an easier choice with my second, but I still made sure to make sure they were always fresh and ready to go. Sounds so silly when I type it, but I'm a big nail person. Hope he comes when they're looking their best!
Ok good, I'm glad I'm not the only one! 🙂 That is seriously one of the first things I notice when I see someone.
