The last time I did a day in the life post, things were a lot different. I’ve been meaning to do this post for two weeks now and never could remember to start it. I’m glad I did this so I can look back and see how much harder things were…I hope 😉 This was last Wednesday.
-Maddox woke up at 12:00. Tried rocking him, but we finally fed him at 12:35. I pumped at 1:00am and Ryan put Maddox down at 1:20. He’s a very hands on dad.
-I blow dry my hair at 1:30am (this is usually when I would go to sleep).
-Maddox starts crying AGAIN at 2:15am the SECOND I get into bed. I put his paci in his mouth and he slept the rest of the night. Had to wake him up to leave to take B to preschool.
And there you have it. A day in my life right now.

Good job on the pumping! I'm sure that it is exhausting, but your little man looks healthy because of you!

Thank you Calley! It IS exhausting, but I'm just glad I produce enough doing it. I hope I make it a year!

Wow!!! Your day sounds about right for having a newborn and a toddler {I have an almost 4 year old 2 year old now}. Major props to you for exclusively pumping – I did that with our little guy since he was born with a cleft palate and it was a true labor of love. We are expecting another baby at the end of October and it will be interesting to see how we settle in……I'm impressed you even got out of the house – you go girl!! 🙂

Thanks Sarah! I have to get out or B gets so ancy (and by ancy I mean pull your hair out terrible). I didn't move from the house the first month, but now Maddox sleeps in his carrier so we can go places. Congrats on another baby! October is the perfect month to have a baby! I'm not sure I could do 3 kids…I'm dying with two. 🙂

Oh my gosh girl!!! I'm tired just reading that!!! And blow drying at 1:30…I would have just had crazy hair!! Ha ha!!

Haha…on the up side, it was one of those times my hair dried really smoothly and soft. 🙂 I should have had crazy hair thought..to match my crazy eyes!

That's awesome M sleeps good during the day! Gage has the hardest time napping! How many times a day do you pump?
joyfullyprudent says
I pump 4 times a day now…I really had to work down to that. The first couple months I was pumping 6-7 times a day if I didn't nurse any. And yes, I'm glad he naps well…it's our saving grace since he's a party animal at night. 🙂
