It’s Friday, which means a pizza and movie night for us! Ryan is gone, so the boys and I like to do this on some Fridays. Tomorrow Beckham turns 5 and I just cannot believe it! I feel like 5 is so “kid” like. We’re celebrating with friends and have a fun day planned.
Moving on to some favorites from this week:
Pure bliss right here. Target with a Starbucks coffee and no kids. Love my kids, but prefer to shop alone 🙂 I had to run errands on Tuesday and it’s amazing everything you can get done when you don’t have the kids.
These frames are definitely my favorite. The Belmont Wall frames. They’re sold at Michaels and I grabbed that 24×36 size for $18. That’s a steal for that size. They’ve been on sale both times I’ve purchased the big one.
I use the frame for this Christmas sign. When I created my coffee station, I used this frame, so I needed another one.
My Trader Joe trips are always fun! I posted a haul on Wednesday and I have to say, all of these items (minus the sushi) are so stinking good!
Ok, so I typically don’t spend money on this kind of thing, but my boys LOVE Elf on the Shelf and I really need someone to tell me what to do this year. This Elf on the Shelf Play Kit has tons of ideas, plus the props to use if you want. I would consider this kit a splurge ($24), but it will be nice not to think this year. B has told me how he cannot wait for Elf to come and bring a North Pole breakfast.
Just fyi, Target has some really fun things in the Dollar section, including this huge coloring poster. Beckham has been working on this for a few days now. I’ve helped him a little.
One of my absolute favorite things to do as a mom is participate in my kids’ activities at school. Yesterday morning, I feasted with this cutie for his Thanksgiving party. His last Thanksgiving party in Pre-school.
And then in the afternoon, I got to party with this guy! It’s so funny how different him and his brother are. He wanted me to hold him or stay RIGHT by his side the entire time. It was fun to have him show me around his little classroom.
I saw this ecard and just about died laughing. This is kind of true.
I plan on finishing the Christmas decor today (got my tree up last night) and making some lists for gifts this year. It should be pretty chilly here this weekend, so we are really looking forward to that. I’ll try and post about how I organize my Christmas (mainly gift giving) next week. Keeping it organized really helps us keep a budget. As always, I’m linking up today for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!

I miss Target so much…having it here in Canada for so short a time was really just a tease. It was better not really knowing it’s amazingness than basking in it’s awesome and then having it taken away. (I just re-read that and I sound like a nut, but seriously, I miss Target!) Happy Birthday to your little one, I hope you have a great time celebrating this weekend! : )
