32nd Birthday

Yesterday, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. This time of year, depending on what day my birthday falls on, Ryan is working. We celebrated last weekend at a really cool hotel on Lake Texoma. This was our view.

Yesterday, the kids were at preschool and I decided to pamper myself. After I dropped the kids off, I grabbed my free birthday drink at Starbucks and went to the nail salon to get a pedicure with my gift card given to me by my in laws (I realized when I sat down, I forgot my gift card…bummer, but I’ll use it next time).

Afterwards, I headed to Target to pick up a few tops and then met my best friend for lunch at Starwood Cafe.

I picked up the boys afterwards and then we headed to our gym (which is where my hair salon is) so I could get my hair highlighted. My gym has free childcare when you get your hair done. I hadn’t been in 2 months which is a really long time for a wanna-blonde like me 🙂

We ended the night at one of my favorite hibachi restaurants in our town. I used to teach the owner’s kids and they have the best sushi roll ever! If you’re local, it’s called Shogun! We enjoyed a nice dinner and it was a great way to end the night.
