I meant to post this yesterday, but I’ve been swamped with orders after the kids go to bed, along with so many to-do’s. I cranked out 96 orders in this month alone (and it’s only been 18 days) and 33 in the last week alone. I had to finally shut my shop down because I’m just too scared I’ll have too many open orders left if baby comes early.
I’m 37 weeks 3 days today! I see my doctor today for my 37 week appointment, as well as a sonogram. I should know more about her size, which I’m dying to find out. I have this weird feeling she is coming soon! But I also was “99.9% sure she was a boy” so my intuition might be off with this one. I hope it is, as I need a bit more time.
This weekend, I was able to crank out some stuff on my to-do list that has me feeling a little better about approaching due date!
On Friday, Beckham had Grandparent’s Day at school and my dad and Ryan’s mom were able to come up and eat lunch with him! Such a special thing for him to enjoy!
This is how we do Friday nights when daddy is gone. It’s something to look forward to at the end of the week after taking care of the kiddos solo most nights. Pizza and movie.
Saturday morning, Beckham had a 9:00 baseball game. Ryan was working that day so I had the boys by myself at the game. Y’all, toting them around is getting super hard right now. Plus, we’re still experiencing some pretty hot days. During the game wasn’t bad because it was shaded and a nice breeze (and only had Maddox to watch). After the game was a different story. I was hot, sweaty, and the boys wanted to do their own thing. Not gonna lie, I was pretty irritated by 11:00 when we left (yes, 11)!!!
We decided to go to my parents house to swim that afternoon and Beckham wanted to use some of his money to buy a Lego set. I thought it would keep them pretty busy and it did. They played with it quite a while at my parents house. Then they swam and we all hung out. Ryan met us over there later in the evening and we all went to dinner for Mexican! My parents graciously asked if they wanted to stay the night. Ummm, yes!
Sunday morning, I texted my mom this picture and told her how much I enjoyed sleeping in and drinking coffee in peace. I love my boys, but it’s nice to have a morning alone (with Ryan) every once in a while. And great timing before “sleeping in” isn’t even a thing when you’re up every 2 hours. I was able to wash my hair as well.
I met my mom halfway and picked up the boys. Then we really got cracking and knocked some things out.
A major one was getting the pack n play out of storage and setting it up for a newborn. This is how we kept Beckham for the first several weeks (we kept Maddox in a bassinet, which I didn’t like). So her “bed” is all ready for her to come home to (just gotta wash the sheets). The boys were really excited to see this out and kept pretending baby sister was in it, using their animals.
Here they are excited about the pack n play. I have no idea why they pose like this with their arms crossed. #boys Sports was also on all day yesterday while we worked away.
Another huge task I marked off my list was deep cleaning the fridge and freezer! This took quite a while, but man, it feels good now. I went through every single piece of food, scrubbed down every surface, and put things back neatly. Don’t judge our ice cream stash…that’s what happens when you have access to Blue Bell (and really it’s all my hubby’s pickings…I rather have a warm cookie). I was also able to see what we had that I needed to use up (I’m not really good at that).
I made a menu plan for the week and also did my grocery shopping online at Walmart (I ended up picking it up yesterday morning).
I also typed out everything needed to know about the boys’ schedules and how we do routines here for whoever is going to watch them while we’re in the hospital. It’s also helpful to have for any other reason I’m out of hand to take care of boys. It has their school schedules listed out, when I drop them off and pick them up, how we do lunches, etc. I also made sure to have money in Beckham’s account for easy lunches in emergency.
We also raised the crib mattress and put new sheets on it in her nursery.
And I ordered a ton of things for immediate use like new breast pump tubes, hospital hats for her, an outfit for her to come home in, a swing, a lamp for her room, seat cover for car, and a mirror for car (all has come in except the swing and car seat).
This tiny hat came in the mail yesterday and I just can’t! I can’t wait to put this on her after she’s born (a white one with a jewel is on the way also). I just can’t wait to hold her!
I honestly have more to do and several things that are on their way in the mail. Like a car seat!!!! We’re moving B to the back today so we can put her car seat in the middle row when it gets here.
Other things left to do besides the car seat are:
-pack my hospital bag (and baby’s…and Ryan’s stuff if he wants me to)
-secure a newborn photographer for her newborn pics
-keep house clean as best I can and stay on top of laundry (every night I try and make sure it’s pretty tidy)
-I have a hair appointment tomorrow and plan to get my nails done (next gen) with my sister in law this weekend…LOL…a little vain, but necessary right?!
-complete her flower collage for her wall
-tidy up her room (there are random things just sitting around in there)
-purchase a few more newborn items like a few more sleepers, but I may wait to see how big she is. And we of course need to buy more diapers.
So that was our weekend and my dose of nesting! Hopefully I can have a 37 week update after my appointment tomorrow. And FYI, I shared a Day in the Life on my Instastories yesterday…you can probably catch most of them still on my Instagram (@oliviacsnyder)…they delete after 24 hours.

Oh my gosh! You are just going to have so much fun with all things pink for your little angel! So seriously, I smiled when I saw your ice cream shelf. A girl after my own heart! (even if it’s really your husbands). Love it! Good luck at the dr…how exciting. XOXO

So exciting! Will you be sharing pics of the nursery?

Oh yes…just have to finish a floral set that’s going around a sign, as well as hang some shelves.
