Wow! Things are changing. I feel huge and I know it only gets bigger. His kicks/punches actually move my entire hips if I’m sitting down. Really weird. I can feel when he moves across my bladder as well. He is still in the breech position and has his feet literally up in his face. I have read that now is a good time to keep a “fetal kick count” – count how many kicks he does in 1 hour or something. Not going to do that because he is constantly moving. I don’t really know what “his cycle” is. I think I’m too busy to actually notice that at this point. Speaking of busy, I’m really frustrated at work. It takes way too much of my time and I don’t feel successful when I leave. I’m counting down the days till I get a break, but then I just remember all the things that will be too hard for my sub to do. Whatever…people keep telling me I won’t care once he arrives. If I wasn’t going back to finish the year, I probably wouldn’t, but it’s still my class when I’m gone.
I still have the same symptoms as before, but leg cramps, moodiness/irritability, and extreme tiredness are high on the list this past week, along with needing to pee if I move from one position to the next. I have also experienced sharp pains if I’m on my feet too long or I move something in a “normal” way (forgetting I can’t move like I used to). Oh and lots of heartburn, especially in the evenings. I’m at a point where I can’t wait to get a stomach back. I love pregnancy, but I now see why God doesn’t make your body grow too big until about the 3rd trimester – so you’re not miserable for longer than 12 weeks. I also wondered why he placed women’s bladders under the uterus. I’m thinking his reasoning was to get us moving non-stop (taking bathroom breaks) and waking us up in the middle of the night to prep us for a baby’s schedule. Here’s 31 weeks pregnant:
