Today I’m linking up with The Larson Lingo, Pinterest Told Me To, and Mix & Match Mama to answer the questions above.
WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:
I’m having to be creative this week so we don’t go to the grocery store anymore until the end of the month, but I did make two really good things this week. THESE stuffed mushrooms and THESE homemade cinnamon rolls. I made the mushrooms for a girl’s night and they were gone super fast. And the cinnamon rolls were so good they didn’t even need icing! I’ve heard that using floss cuts cinnamon rolls really smoothly and this was my first time trying it. I can’t believe I haven’t been doing this. Perfect!
WHAT I’M REMENISCING ABOUT:
I actually saw this picture at my parents’ house and thought “Wow, that is a lot of denim.” My mom was the Director at the preschool we went to, so she always took the pictures with us.
WHAT I’M LOVING:
1. I’m still so obsessed with my “new to me” car! I just love everything about it! It feels so luxurious inside!
2. Upcoming Dates – We have a lot of events coming up. August is our 8th anniversary and it’s also the month we usually do a vacation since Ryan has some time off. I don’t think we are going to go far this year, but may do a staycation??? I still can’t leave Maddox just yet.
3. Designing – I’ve been creating new signs and adding more to the shop. Sometimes all I can do is keep up with orders if I don’t have a lot of time, but Ryan has been giving me some time to work by taking care of the boys, so I’ve been able to just design (my favorite part). Here are a few…Superheroes for the win. “Your text here” is obviously whatever the customer chooses to have me write in there. I’m working on a princess version now to replace the superheroes. If you’re a blogger and are interested in any of these, just let me know.
WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
We’ve been playing a lot in the backyard, meeting up for play dates with friends, and I had a Bachelorette watch party on Monday with those yummy snacks at the bottom (plus the mushrooms). We stayed up way too late, but it was fun!
WHAT I’M DREADING:
I don’t think I’m really dreading anything. Like I mentioned last Friday, I am training for a half marathon and I’m pretty nervous given my run yesterday…I died after 2 miles. 2 miles! Oh wait, yes, I’m dreading another 2 months of extreme heat! August is our worst month with the heat and I’m dreading it.
Sometimes, I literally lie underneath our fan on the living room floor to cool off!
WHAT I’M WORKING ON:
I’m working on signs like I mentioned. I have some super cute quotes coming soon! I’m also working on getting my blogged switched over to WordPress. I was contemplating a name change for the blog, but I don’t think I’m going to, so now I can move forward.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:
I’m excited about our anniversary coming up. I’m excited about my last Bible study session tomorrow (not the last part, but getting together)…we’re going out to eat. I’m excited about Beckham’s summer school program on Thursday and hanging out at my parent’s house. I’m excited about possibly losing some weight from running! 🙂
WHAT I’M WEARING:
BONUS QUESTON THIS MONTH: WHAT WILL YOU MISS ABOUT THIS SUMMER?
Most definitely sleeping in a bit (thank you Ryan) and having more “me time.” I do thrive on a schedule, so I’m still looking forward to that.
Hope you had fun catching up! Happy Hump Day.
I love connecting with y’all. My Facebook, Instagram(@snyderstellall) and Pinterest.

Yes Kelsey and they're SO easy! Took 1 hour…no need to let it rise or even knead the dough (although I did a few times just to mix it up). And thank you!

Cute shirt from Target! Is it a workout tank or just a regular shirt?
joyfullyprudent says
It is a workout tank. It's loose fitting…which I love these days 😉

Usually I don't want summer to end, but this year I am excited for school to start and get back on a routine. It's been nice being lazy and doing nothing however I'm finding its getting me depressed this year! Love the new glasses
joyfullyprudent says
I feel ya Kimm! I think most people are ready for more of a routine once "school" hits, especially if you have kids.

I started training for a half marathon back in June! I am not a runner. Heck, I am not even an exerciser (especially compared to my always-in-shape-soccer-coach-husband)! But I needed a big goal, so mine is in November. I can't wait to follow your journey! 7 miles this weekend. I can't even think about it…
Also, I'd love to do a print giveaway or feature an image or two on my blog (www.yellowdoordiaries.com) just let me know if you're interested in teaming up!
joyfullyprudent says
That is so cool Morgan! I didn't know you were training. We need to hook up on whatever apps can let us know how the other is doing. I just started using Map My Run. Do you have a Fitbit. And of course, I'd love to do a giveaway/feature. I can even physically ship even thought I normally sell the printable. I know some people don't want to bother with printing. I'll email you soon. Thanks for thinking of that.
