I feel like my pictures are pretty boring lately, but it’s my “everyday” literally…round the clock with a newborn and toddler. I’m so blessed that Ryan is home more for a few more weeks before he’s back in full swing with school. I included one too many pictures in my last post, so this first one is a repeat, but it’s technically part of Week 30.
Day 204: This mama is enforcing some major Baby Wise today. I followed the book’s guidelines with B and he slept through the night early on. Maddox is HORRIBLE at night and I simply cannot function without sleep. When you have another kid to take care of, you can’t really catch up on sleep during the day. I’m probably averaging 4-6 hours of interrupted sleep per night. People keep asking me why I don’t like the newborn stage…this is reason number one right here!
Day 205: I chopped off 7 inches of my hair last Thursday and got my roots done. It was WAY over due! I feel so much lighter. My hair is in a pony tail 95% of the time right now, so I needed some short hair!
Day 206: Can you believe he turned 1 month old! This last month was rough, but it’s already getting better.
Day 207: He has been entertaining Maddox for the last 15 minutes. Maddox is by far the most content during “wake time” here in the playroom. It’s bright and LOUD…thanks to that energetic toddler. I cannot explain how good he has been with Maddox. He likes to “pet” him on the head, hug him (and he’s not a hugger), and tell him “it’s okay baby brudder” when he’s crying. I die!
Day 208: Bath time! He likes his baths now. This bath is a great one if you’re looking for an infant tub. It’s Angel Care Bath Support. I found it at Buy Buy Baby for about $25.
Day 209: Sleeps during day, parties at night! There is at least 2 feedings during the day that he is almost impossible to wake up. I hate waking a sleeping baby, but I really hate trying to get him to sleep at night.
Day 210: Our morning…5 kids under 3 years. This photo cracks me up It will only get crazier.

Dude, this kid is huge! He is chunking up by the DAY.
Here’s to another week of cat napping, rocking baby to sleep, getting spit up on, changing a gazillion diapers a day, eating like I haven’t seen food in weeks, yelling at my toddler to stop (let’s be honest), nursing, pumping, filling and washing tons of bottles a day because he won’t nurse enough, and snuggling that linebacker up there. He’s so close to smiling…hopefully he’ll do it this week.
