It’s Friday y’all and I’m excited for a weekend to get my house back in order…still! I plan on taking the kids to a play place today so I can get some work done and they can have a good time playing. I’m a little more busy than normal with Etsy orders. May is always a busy month with end of the year teacher gifts and Mother’s Day.
The weather is supposed to be great this weekend so hopefully we can enjoy some of it outside! All we have on our schedule is a baseball game.
I’m linking up today with some other bloggers for Friday favorites!
{ONE} Kirklands Mirror
I have been wanting this mirror for over a year now. It’s from Kirklands and I just love it. This is not how it will be styled, but I put it up on our mantle to see what it might look like.
{TWO}: LEARNING MATH
Maddox was taking a nap and I was working on my computer. Beckham came and sat beside me so I threw out some simple math problems to see what he could do. Clearly, I need to make them harder. He also read a few words from the –at family. His Pre-K teachers say he catches on very quickly and it’s just so fun to see him learn. I also JUST registered him for Kindergarten!!! I’m nervous for him to go to school (he’s SUPER active and is more concerned with making people laugh), but he also needs a lot of activities daily that has been pretty hard for me to keep up with at home.
{THREE}: BABY GIRL ROOM
My plan was to not really change anything to the nursery and just pop little girl in there once she’s born…BUT then I walked through Hobby Lobby and saw all of this. Geez, girl stuff is so much cuter! I doubt I’ll do much, but it’s going to be hard.
{FOUR}: NEW COFFEE LATTE CREAMER
I saw this advertised on TV and thought it was screaming my name. I decided to try it and it’s pretty darn good. A fun little twist on my coffee. If you’re a latte drinker, you should try.
{FIVE}: AFFORDABLE SHOES
I saw some shoes like this at Target a couple of weeks ago, but I put them back because we had purchased so many things at the time and needed a break. Well, I saw these the other day at Walmart for less than $13! They are very comfortable and just like the ones at Target. I also got another pair that’s even more comfortable but I can’t find them on the site and I don’t have a picture for you, so I’ll share them later.
{SIX}: HAPPY MADDOX
This kid is so easily made happy! He’s very tender hearted and loves his mama! I glanced over at him and thought he looked so big! He’ll be 3 in late June! He’s so tall for his age and I’m curious if it keeps up. We’re not tall people, but we’ll see. If so, he’s got the perfect stats for a baseball pitcher…big, tall, and a lefty (Ryan was a LHP in minor leagues, but never tall, which definitely helps with speed). Ugh, little man is just so cute!
Just some random tid-bits for you on Friday! Have a great weekend!
