I haven’t done a Friday Favorites in a while, so I have quite a bit for ya! First of all, if you missed my post yesterday about Gift Ideas for MEN, check it out HERE. I think it has some pretty good ideas…all for under $50 (most under $20).
I got this cute coffee mug at Hobby Lobby and I love it. I’m drinking coffee or hot chocolate out of it any chance I can.
Last Sunday we got home from visiting a new church and it was raining really hard outside (and freezing). We made cookies and sipped “coffee” while we waited for them to bake! Perfect Sunday afternoon.
I showed this in my Monday post, but I just love this sign. It’s definitely a favorite decoration in my house! And it’s selling often in my shop.
This picture makes me laugh and gives me great hope for the future. BOTH my boys wanted to clean the kitchen (aka wipe stuff with a wipe-y…M just does whatever B does). The clean freak in me is rejoicing!
On Monday Ryan called on his way home from work and told us to meet him at Raising Cane’s to eat dinner. They had this cute Elf cutout that Beckham loved.
Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite stores and this stuff is pretty darn good!
Here’s the inside goodness!
In my December goals post, I mentioned that I’m starting a new cleaning routine. This brand is one of my favorite natural cleaning products. I’ve used the All Purpose cleaner and the dish soap before and love them. The Lime and Sea Salt scent is to die for, but I couldn’t find it in the dish soap this time. I also got 3 new bathroom cleaners. The clear Daily Shower is to spray the shower with after each use. I actually used this to wipe down the glass when I was cleaning it and this stuff really is amazing! If you have a glass shower, try this stuff. The two blue bathroom cleaners have been great too. The Antibac is for the tub and tile and works great! I just spray and wipe down the tile. I use my scrubber on the tub with the same spray. The Bathroom Cleaner spray is used for wiping down cabinets and doors and such, but I don’t really like the smell. Love them all though and I thought they were pretty affordable. I’ve tried making my own cleaner with vinegar, but the vinegar smell kills me! I got these at Target.
These chips from Trader Joes are really good. They’re organic which is nice!
The other day Beckham asked how to spell my name and then he wrote this! I told him how some of the letters looked, but he did this all by himself. I know some kids his age are writing their name, but Beckham is NOT like this at all. He doesn’t have much interest in writing and it’s like pulling teeth to get him to trace letters even. So this was a pleasant surprise.
Our Elf came to visit last Tuesday and brought snow covered donuts, “elf eggs” as B calls them (aka mini quiche), and fruit. I kept is super simple this year as I started setting up right before I went to bed. Maddox got to join in on the breakfast this year and destroyed those donuts! Here are some more pictures. Be was so excited and looks for Elf (yes, that’s his name) each morning! Maddox has really gotten into it as well.
I got an Advent calendar at Target a while ago for $3! Can you see the mistake on the calendar (comment if you see it)? Anyways, in each pocket is an activity (I shared them here) and a few chocolate M&M’s. We’re having fun with the activities. First up was picking out an ornament, then going on a wagon ride with hot cocoa, and yesterday was “growing a candy cane.”
For our wagon ride, we bundled up after dinner, made some hot cocoa (just B), and they cozied under a blanket while we went for a ride. They absolutely loved it and so did I! Ryan was gone so it was just the 3 of us.
Picking out the marshmallows is his favorite part.
And yesterday we planted a “seed” (aka peppermint) to grow a candy cane. Beckham just placed a peppermint underneath this fake snow (not sure if you can see the snow in the pic). I told him it grows in the dark (???). I was going to wait and have it “sprout” over a few days, but he’s 4 and we know how well they do with waiting. It’s Christmas…candy canes can grow over night 🙂 So he’ll see his candy cane this morning!
I found this cute Christmas sign at Hobby Lobby today when I was getting some things for my party next week. It was $8.00 and I love it here. I also got that jar for the cookies and treats we always have baked. The label is a chalkboard label that I wrote on.
And lastly, this is my favorite way to work lately. I’ve had to do more orders than normal at night when the kids are asleep and last night I made some hot cocoa. A candle, a warm drink, and designing! Love!
We have a low key weekend. I’m hoping to get some shopping done! Have a great weekend!

I saw the mistake, I wonder if you could just swap those two pieces? Either that or I guess they'll just skip back and forth. I also wanted to say I loved your guys gift guide, I've got it bookmarked for Father's Day too!

Oh wow, that cocoa with the candle looks delightful. I've been staying up late blogging and I think I need to add a candle to my desk to help keep me motivated when I'm burning the midnight oil! 🙂
