This month I participated in a Christmas Cheer Exchange with some other bloggers. The idea was to stuff a box with Christmas goodies for under $10. I had fun making the box I sent and couldn’t wait to get mine as well. Such a fun way to meet different people and have a fun surprise show up on your doorstep.
My box came from Kristin at Enjoying Life’s Simple Things. She packaged my box so well. First of all, she packed it in a stocking…brilliant idea for shipping. When I opened it there was a little tag with my name on it. How cute. Clearly Kristin is creative.
My goodies. Either she read my blog before she sent items to figure out some of my likes or she guessed right on.
Nail polish – I’m not sure I like any accessory more than a nail polish. I’ve been dying to paint my nails with that orange/red/hot pink color, but I haven’t had anytime. It’s sitting on my sink just waiting to be used. I think this is the longest my nails have gone without color. It’s killing me.
And I love earrings. I wear earrings everyday. Even if it’s just some pearl studs. I love this color and I don’t have it so this was perfect.
Lip Balm, Foot scrubber, and lotion. I’m obsessed with lip balm. I can’t go to bed without putting it on my lips. This one is really smooth and I like the vanilla flavor. I’m sticking the lotion in my car. My hands are always dry in the winter, especially washing tons of bottles and pump parts, so my hands need lotion all day.
Cute nail files. I also think I’ll keep one of these in my car.
How cute is this little “Merry” tchotchke. I think it will go perfectly in the guest bathroom during Christmas.
