Last time I updated I was 32 weeks along. I’m now a little over 35 weeks and things are flying. The biggest change since last time was that I’ve started getting chiropractic adjustments a couple times a week.
I’m officially at the uncomfortable stage (not miserable though), especially when I get up from sleeping or if I’ve been going too fast (typically this will happen if I’ve been cleaning or shuffling around my house too fast). Something on the floor? I’ll really contemplate picking it up.
Here is a picture from 35 weeks pregnant.
And how interesting is this collage of all 3 of my pregnancies? I was the lightest with #1 and am a heavier weight with each one. I definitely swelled most with B (#1).
How far along? 35 weeks 4 days…(due date is October 7th)!
Total weight gain/loss? 25 pounds (that’s a guess as I can’t remember what I weighed at last appt.). Side note: I gained 42 pounds with #1 and 36 pounds with #2, but I started heavier with this one.
How big is baby? Size of a a honeydew melon (about 18 inches long) and weighs about 5 1/4 pounds I’ll know her estimated weight in a couple weeks when I go for my 37 week ultrasound.
Stretch marks? Yes, I’ve started to notice small ones along my lower back and near my belly button (weird).
Sleep? Sleep has gotten worse. Not sleeping much at all and officially always tired. I now wake up 1-2 times to pee and about 2-3 times to turn over. My pains in my outer hips aren’t as bad when I wake up since getting adjusted, but I’ve had some groin pain and pelvic bone pain. The pelvic bone pain makes me think she’s huge! I’m so nervous to find out how big she is in a couple weeks as I really don’t want to deliver a big baby.
Fitness? Yea, no! Like I said last week, I’m moving so much with taking care of 2 boys and cleaning. I totally count that as fitness. I still would like to go to the gym to walk 30 minutes and stretch…I feel like stretching would do some good at this stage.
Best moment this week? I would have to say feeling her move at this point. It’s so surreal seeing/feeling her move and knowing how big she is inside. I got to see my friend’s newborn baby yesterday and it got me super excited to hold her!
Miss anything? Same as last week – sitting normally, bending down, and deli turkey. Pretty much miss doing normal things you don’t think about. I miss non-swollen body parts.
Food cravings? I’m still craving soda 🙁 And I randomly craved some pimento cheese on sandwich bread.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Current Symptoms? Same thing as before (BH contractions, swelling, and heartburn). This week though my swelling in my feet got really bad. I was just bragging to a neighbor how I haven’t swelled this pregnancy like I did in the previous two (mainly in ankles) and the very next day my feet blew up. Literally, they blew up so fat and chubby. I have extremely petite feet/ankles so it’s kind of painful when I flex my toes up.
I also had a really bad eye-blindness spell last week. I started to go blind (light flashes in my eyes) to where I literally couldn’t see what I was doing and had to lay down and take a nap. Luckily it happened when I was working on my computer and Ryan had both the kids on an errand. Usually it goes away after 20 minutes or so, so I laid down, closed my eyes for 30 minutes and I was fine. It was my worst spell yet though. I need to get my eyes checked as I have an astigmatism and wondering if it’s getting worse or pregnancy is affecting it (or both).
Belly button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On (can’t get them off).
Mood? Tired. Irritated even more than I have been. Having Beckham in school and Maddox a couple times a week in preschool has actually helped as I’m able to get a little more done and rest a bit more.
Beckham wanted to take a picture so I let him and this angle/pose really shows how big my belly is (yikes).
Don’f forget to check out my new Fall products in my shop (just click on the Fall category on the left and the Mugs category to take you to each).. Unfortunately, I’ll be closing the shop this month, but all for good reasons. I’ll re-open as soon as I can since it will be Christmas season.
And much more.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Longtime reader…hard to believe you are on your third child! As for your eyes, you need to get that checked immediately. It is considered a medical emergency. If you have a detached retina, it can lead to vision loss so you must get it checked asap. I had this happen last year and I needed to see a retinal specialist right away. Go to a good eye clinic. Luckily I did not have a detached retina however it did uncover some other vision issues. Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope your delivery is smooth. Take care.
