Since setting my January goals, I’ve really given myself grace this month to relax and not worry so much about blogging and my Etsy shop. As a matter of fact, I always take off a couple of weeks in January after the Christmas rush to close my shop. Well, I decided to open it a little earlier than usual and orders came in that very day. Awesome, right? Not so much as my computer decided it had had enough of me clicking “ignore” to updating and such and shut down a few days later. I couldn’t even move my mouse. I had 13 open orders (and 4 custom) and I couldn’t do a thing. I ended up refunding majority of those orders that didn’t get out in time, as well as completing them (gotta have good customer service). Thankfully, my dad (a computer genius) came over and cleaned up my computer…we spent a good hour backing everything up. In the meantime, I closed my shop again for obvious reasons. I haven’t opened back up and not really sure when I will.
As some of you know, my hubby refs basketball during the months of November to March. He’s gone from early in the morning to way past bed time, so all the child, house, and everyday life duties fall on me. Which is fine, but it makes it hard to get any work done or blog. I think the computer shutting down was God’s way of letting me see that I’m trying to do too much with the little “me” time I have right now. My “me” time right now consists of getting this post written only because I have to sit down and pump before I go to bed. Gotta love “me” time at this stage.
Other than the computer fiasco, this has been life since Christmas.

Aww hang in there mama. I totally resonate with a lot of this post. Bath time is a gift from god on long days. HAHAHAHA And the no napping…oh my gosh. this time last year when my oldest (now 4yr) stopped napping I seriously almost lost my mind.
