Trip Down Memory Lane

This weekend I tackled this soon-to-be nursery!  I have been working on this for a while, but really dove in this weekend.  I STILL have a little left in there to do before it’s completely emptied of non-baby items.  The dresser should be here any day…I’m getting excited to decorate!  Take a look at the organized mess (the before)!

 

As I was going through all the junk that has been sitting in here for the past 6 years, I found tons of pictures!  It took me down Memory Lane!   So a little peak into the old Olivia and Ryan…

And can you see why I pray our kids look like Ryan?  He’s got to be the cutest kid EVER!  B’s got a pretty good mix of both of us, but definitely favors me right now.

Running out to take the field!

Ryan played in the minors for 7-8 years as a left handed pitcher, or in baseball terms, LHP.  Baseball has to be the sport with the greatest amount of acronyms!  And I know just about all of them!  I dated Ryan half of these years and they are memories I will never forget.  Traveling hours to stay with him and see him play.  Sitting in the stands, a nervous wreck, as he pitched.  Hanging out with “the girlfriends.”  Staying up extremely late after the games and hanging out.  Some of my favorite times with this guy.

My dad made this collage of us a long time ago (I think for a gift I gave Ryan or maybe for our wedding slideshow?) and I just love it.  This was me as a club player in high school though.

All these pictures make me wonder what our two boys will do.  As I’m sure you can assume, Ryan and I are counting down the years until they can play organized sports.  We’ll definitely support whatever they choose to do, but we are obviously partial to these two sports!  Anyway, a little blast from the past.
