It’s been 3 weeks since my last update at 15 weeks. It’s funny how different these updates are with this pregnancy. I don’t really have time to think about symptoms or how my body is changing. It basically has to hit me like a Mack truck for me to notice.
In a nutshell, I was a bit more tired the last couple of weeks and REALLY moody, but I attribute that more to the updates we did to the house and the chaos that brings with it. Messy house = Crazy Olivia!
The best thing is I started to feel her move! With my last two pregnancies, I felt the same exact thing at the same time. Felt the tiny little flutter at 16 weeks, but so light, I’m unsure, and then by 17 weeks, I’m sure it’s her moving. This is THE best part of pregnancy!
This last week it really sank in that I’m having a girl. I’m not sure why I haven’t allowed myself to think about an actual girl, but I got super excited! I spotted all the girl decor at Hobby Lobby and fell in love. I also was given some clothes and toys this week for her.
I totally forgot to take a picture at 16 weeks, but here are 17 and 18 weeks.
I’m still so shocked with how big I am at this stage of the pregnancy. I feel like I only have a couple months left based on how big I feel. Check out 18 weeks from last pregnancy to this one…
How far along? 18 weeks 2 days…(due date is October 7th)!
Total weight gain/loss? 2 pounds (lost 2 pounds apparently since 15 weeks even though it doesn’t feel like it).
How big is baby? Size of a bell pepper (about 5 1/2 inches long).
Stretch marks? No
Sleep? I sleep great, but have been pretty tired lately (not getting enough sleep on my end though).
Fitness? What’s that? But seriously, I am craving the gym…just to find some workout pants that are comfortable.
Best moment this week? Movement for sure.
Miss anything? A flat stomach…I’ve officially entered the awkward stage between chubby and pregnant. I also miss cold deli meat (I really want a Jimmy John’s sandwich). Let it be noted though that I find the whole process, chubby and all, absolutely amazing and beautiful.
Food cravings? Anything I don’t have to cook, but pretty sure that’s not pregnancy related!
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Current Symptoms? Can feel my stomach starting to enlarge. I’m sure there are other symptoms, but I honestly can’t think of anything.
Belly button in or out? In…mostly
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Mood? Very moody I noticed this week. Impatient.
Overall, this pregnancy is going very similar to Maddox’s (#2). His was definitely tougher for me towards the end because he was so large, but I have high hopes she won’t be as big, so we’ll see.
We still don’t have a name, but let’s be honest, we won’t have one till after she’s born!
In other news, the boys are about to get a bunk bed, which will be neat. I will let Maddox decide if he moves into that room now or later. And I’m also expanding my business to other products such as prints and coffee mugs. I knew one day I would do this, but I thought that right before I add #3 would be the best time. #yearight #butimgoingforit
My next appointment will be at 20 weeks where I’ll get to see her little body again! And see what a girl looks like on a sonogram for the first time.
Till next update…

Impressive! I have a sizable belly for 18 Wks which makes me appear further along when I’m not.
