Well this week has been a doozy and I simply did not have time to blog. I got a few questions about what make up I wear on my blog survey and I thought I’d share what I use today since today is Friday Favorites.
My favorite make for my everyday wear. Just hover over the picture to see the name of the product and price.
Revlon ColorStay Concealer – I use this to cover up any spots on my face, as well as my under eye. I use the Beauty Blender or the concealer brush (both shown above) to blend it.
Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Flared Mascara – I love Maybelline mascaras. I gave this away in my Giveaway a couple of weeks ago. I also use a eye lash curler.
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Powder – Creamy Natural 2413 – I really like this powder and it’s less than $12! This gives me a pretty full coverage so I don’t have to use any foundation.
Beauty Blender Original beautyblender single, Pink – I really like this for concealer application
e.l.f. Eyebrow Duo Brush 84033 – I use this for my eyebrows to color them in and shape them
e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Concealer Brush – If I don’t use the beauty blender, I use this. I’ve been using this lately because I need a new BB.
MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush – I have been using this for my eye shadow for years
e.l.f. Cosmetics Powder Brush – One of my favorite brushes for powder, especially for the price.
e.l.f. Brush 84022 ELF Angled Blush – I use this for bronzer under my cheek bones (I don’t really use blush, just bronzer)
MAC Eye Shadow – I use the color “tempting” for a shimmering brown/gold in the outer corners of my eye lid
MAC Nutcracker Sweet Smoky Eye Compact – I don’t use this kit, but use the color KID from this kit (I couldn’t find just the shadow by itself) as the base on my eye lid.
MAC Eyeshadow – I use the color “sketch” (dark purple/plum) for my outer corners of eye lid if I don’t use the tempting color.
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer- The bronzer I currently use in the shade “Sunset Strip)…can also be used as eye shadow if you want (I don’t)
I apply it in this order (usually takes 5-10 minutes):
1. Concealer. 2. Powder 3. Bronzer 4. Eye shadow 5. Eye liner 6. Eye brows 7. Mascara
Those are my favorite items for make up. I don’t change it up too often…it’s a good day if I get makeup on. Hope that was helpful or interesting for you simple make up lovers out there.
A few other favorites from the week:
One of the boys favorite places (and mine too) to go is Play Street! The one here in our city is a farm theme, but they have such cool toys, pretend play, colors, etc. The boys could play forever in here. This was the only quick picture I got because I was busy chatting with my friends. It’s one of the few places I can have a conversation with a friend while the kids play.
My little man had his last soccer game of his first season! It was such a blast watching him play. He asked to play in the winter season, so we signed him up for another season. It’s indoors which is nice.
Beckham and his good buddy from school…doing what they always do…being goofy!
The weather is cooler here, which made me get outside and clean the patio. It was super dirty, so I swept every corner, cleaned the windows, added lights to that tree, cleaned the furniture, and rearranged. This is where I hang when the boys play. Great for reading. I just need to hang the lights. And now I really want a fire pit outside!
I made these cookies this week and they sure were good. I highly recommend them.
The boys favorite part! #lickthespoon
I snapped this picture yesterday morning and smiled when I realized Maddox was trying to put his elbow on Beckham’s shoulder for a pose. He’s thinks he’s 5 by the way…he’ll tell you that. Oh, these two keep me busy…and tired. Love them!
Well, that’s it for today. I have a fun weekend ahead and hope you enjoy yours as well.
