Maddox Cade–9 Months

Dear Maddox,
Not too much has changed this month, but there are a few things. You don’t sit still for me to rock you anymore. You are always on the go. You started this month off sick with a cold and also got a stomach bug a week after that. I’m pretty sure you’ve been sick once a month since you were 3 months old. I’m really enjoying watching you learn so many new things every day and exploring everything.

Measurements: We had a well visit this month. You weigh 20lbs. 12.5oz (75%). You are 29 1/2 inches long (95%). And your head is 18 inches (90%). Still my big baby! Your weight leveled off this month.

My favorite thing: I love when you crawl up to me and use me to stand up.

Daily Activities: Getting into anything and everything you can!

Eating: Still the same, although you can swallow a little bit more than pureed foods. Still 4 bottles of breast milk a day and solids in between each meal. You love sweet potatoes and light colored fruit (pears, apples, etc).

Sleeping: You sleep about 11-12 hours at night with two naps (1.5-2 hours each) during the day.

Special Events:
-Started pulling up on crib and me (onto feet)!
-First St. Patrick’s Day
-Got 2 new teeth on top (you have a total of 4 now)

As always I love looking at you and your brother. You guys are really starting to look similar. Beckham on the left, Maddox on the right.
