Yay! It’s Friday. We’re headed to the Pumpkin Patch this morning and then back home for lunch and naps! I have some random Friday favorites today!
This week I pulled up to get my coffee and the barista told me my drink was paid for. I was so shocked and it made me feel so good. That was the first time I’ve had a drink paid for. I paid it forward and continued the act. It was a great lesson to teach Beckham. Especially since he got a cake pop and that was covered too. He thought it was so nice someone paid for his cake pop. He said, “Mommy, is my heart happy?!” 🙂
I’ve been trying to keep track of my calories and this sandwich was yummy and low cal! Prima Della turkey, 1/2 of an avocado mashed up, sprinkled with sat and pepper, and a thin spread of olive oil mayo on a Trader Joe’s whole grain sprouted bread. The entire sandwich was 220 calories. I drink coffee on school days when I get home so I’m not very hungry before I pick the kids up, so this was perfect.
I love this ready to bake pizza dough from Trader Joe’s. Pizza is my jam and homemade crust is the best. I love this because it’s already made for you, but still gives a homemade bread without all the work. I made the most delicious pizza! I topped it with Trader Joe’s organic marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella slices, and bacon/onion/mushrooms. I cooked some bacon and then sautéed the onions and mushrooms in a little of the bacon grease. Then I put them on the pizza. Oh my gosh it was good. This dough is less than $2.00 which is awesome! If I make it again soon, I’ll remember to take a picture of it!
This isn’t the best picture, but I ordered these amazingly inexpensive earrings this week. They just came in and I can’t wait to sport them. Each earring was $2.95, but they’re now $5.95. Still a great price. I got 4 pairs.
I’ve been adding several signs to my shop and this is probably one of my favorites! People are starting to Favorite Christmas items on Etsy and I can’t wait to put this one up in my own home!
I feel kind of weird posting this picture of Jana Kramer eating kiwi, but I wanted to screen shot it for her hair. I have been thinking about going back darker, but more of an ombre look. I know it would look so much better with my long hair, but I’ll have to wait 8 months for it to grow 🙁 I have a hair appointment tomorrow, so we’ll see what I end up with.
I haven’t pulled out my phone a lot lately to take pictures (mainly because my phone is always dead or full), which is kind of nice. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend and looking for a new church. Our church’s campus shut down last Sunday and the next closest campus is really far. We were in love with our church and are very sad about it, but we believe God closes doors to open others. I feel like it’s starting all over. We’d been members at Fellowship Church for 8 years. They really are the most creative and innovative church I know. To new beginnings!

Happy weekend! I will be spending today cleaning my house from top to bottom as inspired by you! If you're in the market for a great church you should visit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in your area. You can find out where they meet and what time by putting your address in this link.

Thanks Katherine! I'm cleaning too! Love starting the weekend off with a clean house. I have some friends who are Mormon and go there. Our eyes are on the look for a Bible church…this time it will be interesting to look at churches with our kids in mind…a church with a great youth program! The last church we went to had a killer youth group! 🙁

Thanks Kristina! I love affordable jewelry. Hopefully it doesn't make my ears fall off 🙂 I really want Kendra Scott earrings but I just cannot justify spending $50 on one pair of jewelry, especially earrings.

I was so sad to hear about the church too 🙁 I think we're going to try out Watermarks Plano campus. You should check it out!

Yes, we were shocked…out of all the areas in the DFW, our area is the fastest growing in all aspects. Golden spot to have a church. We've thought about Watermark (that was our old campus for Fellowship)
