Well, I’m not even sure anyone will read this considering my absence around here, but I hope so. I didn’t want to film our Easter weekend (for Youtube)…too much work and I wanted to enjoy it, so I took as many pictures as I could and wanted to share on my blog!
I’m REALLY hoping to post more here and have a balance between Youtube and blogging (and hopefully intermix the two as I had originally planned).
Easter morning the kids woke up and we dove into the Easter baskets. I intended to go “small” because they get so much from grandparents and the hunts, but I guess I failed a little bit. It wasn’t expensive, but looks like a lot. This was Brielle’s first Easter to really participate and I LOVED it.
I made them bunny pancakes before we headed to my in laws. We went to church the day before so we had our morning free.
After breakfast, we did a little egg hunt in the backyard. I literally just picked up a prepackaged box of eggs (filled with jelly beans) to throw back there. My kids love the actual hunt of the eggs. They’ll even keep the empty eggs after Easter and hide them for each other.
Brielle’s 1st Easter egg hunt! This age (18 months) is my absolute favorite! I’m even more excited about the summer and her swimming this year (vs. being carried last year at 6 months…lol).
Afterwards, we headed over to my in laws for Easter lunch, an egg hunt, and to hang out for the afternoon. My in laws renovated almost their entire house and I hadn’t seen it in months, so it was so cool to check out the new house!
The boys were on a mission. My mother in law has numbers inside some of the eggs and when they get inside the house, they turn them in for other prizes. They absolutely love it!
This was one of the items. Just in time for baseball season! And can we just talk about the fact that this FOUR YEAR OLD is wearing the same size shoe as his brother and now wears size 6/7 shorts and 6/7 shirts 😳 He’s going to be in the same size as Beckham I’m sure at some point in the near future.
After we hung out a bit at my in laws, we headed over to my parents house (they live about 10-15 minutes from each other). We at dinner and had another egg hunt!
My mom explaining the Resurrection story to Beckham.
We had such a good weekend and I love creating these memories for our family. I hope you all had a great Easter holiday as well.
About blogging…I got stuck down a black hole of my own blog the other day, reminiscing over old posts and missing that I haven’t posted here as much. Based on what I like to reread myself and what you guys like to read, I’ve decided to focus on the following posts for now:
-Monthly Goals
-Life Lately (just keeping up with life here)
-10 on 10 (10 pictures on the 10th of each month)
-Weekend Top 10 (maybe 1-2 times a month…10 pictures from the month) – got this idea from Andrea at Momfessionals
-Important posts I want documented here (birthdays, holidays, events, etc) as well as certain YouTube videos that would be relevant to my blog.
*Let me know if there is anything else you want to see. I know a lot of you like finance posts and I will try my best if something comes up, but I’m not sure exactly what all to post in regards to that right now (but I’m all ears).
I’m always over on Instagram posting away so feel free to follow along over there as well @oliviacsnyder
Check out my latest video from YouTube (I clean up my office and give a little tour)

Love all your posts and you tube videos. I would like to read or watch videos on what your kiddos eat in a day. I get bored with our rotations and like new ideas from other mommas. thanks!!!
