I’ve reached the point in pregnancy of discomfort…boo! Hurts to sit, bend down, and sleep. Although I have TONS to do still (and 2 baby showers still to have), I can’t wait to have this baby! I’m looking forward to enjoying his movements outside my body! My next appointment (36 week appt. next Tuesday) starts my weekly visits to the doctor. Wow! Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this yet, but my doctor will be gone on a mission’s trip until June 24, so the likelihood of him delivering this baby are slim, unless he comes way later than B did. I’m actually not nervous about that since the other two doctors in his practice are amazing! My OB is a long time family friend (on both sides) and has listened to me talk about my desire of having a vbac for 26 weeks now, so I’d love to have him there, but we’ll see!
How far along? 34 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? 28 pounds total (2 pounds this week)
How big is baby? Size of a butternut squash. Baby might have descended this week (yes he did), giving you more room to breathe (hmmm…not so much). Weighs about 4.2-5.8 pounds.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep? Not good. Wake up sore in shoulder and hips. And wake up to use the restroom.
Fitness? I deep cleaned my house the other day and I’m definitely counting that as fitness.
Best moment this week? Baby’s tree decals came in yesterday for his nursery!
Miss anything? Yes, a lot! Bending down, walking without having to pee, not being swollen (my feet hurt so bad right now as I type…feels like they’re about to burst open).
Food cravings? Sweets. Fruit. Still gotta have my english muffin and peanut butter.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Current Symptoms? My BH contractions were pretty strong this week for “non labor” contractions. Baby looks lower this week.
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Mood? Tired.

Hi, I am not sure how I found your blog, but I have been enjoying following along, as I am 34 weeks pregnant this week too – due July 3 with my 2nd. (I have a 3 year old daughter). I wanted to comment and say that my feet have been hurting and sometimes feel like they're going to burst open too! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with that description! 🙂 Anyway, congrats on your baby!

How neat Erica! Maybe it's the constant running after our kids and the natural swelling that comes with pregnancy. I will not miss this part. 🙂 Glad you can share in my pain.
