Sneak Peak at Nursery!

What a weekend!  This was the quietest weekend I’ve had in a while.  We had a baby shower with our  hometeam on Saturday night which was so much fun!  It was breakfast themed and we got a lot of great gifts!  Other than that, I was able to get some things done at the house.  Ryan was gone all weekend, so I worked and worked at the house.  I got a lot done this weekend: cleaned the house, laundry, organized things that had been pushed aside the last two months, wrote my thank you notes, grocery shopped, washed the baby’s clothes, and organized his room!  I think I pushed myself a little too hard.  My tummy hurts/aches!  I love his nursery!  The pictures do not do it justice.  It’s really peaceful with the lamps on and overhead lights off.  It is very simple, but handsome!  Here is the nursery so far:

We will put his newborn pictures in the frames in black and white.

I still need to add panels to the window!

The hutch and changing table!

The extremely comfortable recliner that Ryan’s mom bought us!  The color is perfect!

The view from the chair!  I was sitting there today and thinking how different my life is going to be in a couple of weeks!
