Ok so these last two weeks were really busy with Valentines Day, the gender reveal, and my birthday. So, I’m combining these last two weeks into one post. You know what I’m really loving about these photos? I’m capturing the normal things I do everyday and it’s so neat to look back on already. I really am living the career I’ve dreamed of for years! It’s hard, but the rewards are priceless! These days are flying by and I’m trying to soak them up! Pics via Instagram (oliviacaitlinsnyder) WEEK 6: Day 36: The perfect meal on this super cold night. Homemade garlic cheese bread and potato soup. Both of these were delicious. Day 37: It’s snowing in Texas!!! Woke up to a little snow. We usually get ice. Beckham immediately said “ice ice” Poor guy doesn’t know what snow really is yet. Day 38: Dinner at my favorite place – Cristina’s Mexican Restaurant. Day 39: Curling my niece’s hair for her winter formal. Can’t believe she will be 15 in a couple of months. Day 40: Like father like son. He really does imitate a lot of what Ryan does. It’s super cute and telling that boys literally look up to their fathers! Day 41: The best part of brownies. We usually make a treat every Tuesday night…these are the times I’m going to miss when he’s older. Day 42: Went to the doctor this day and everything was perfect with the baby! I feel very blessed that my pregnancies have gone well thus far. Praying hard this one is delivered the good old God-intended way! I wanted to rip open this envelope and CONFIRM my inclination that it was a boy! And here are a few more pics from Week 6: Snow day means we build a tent. The night Beckham crawled out of the crib! Not doing it anymore…knock on wood. Because eating lunch ON the table is so much more fun than sitting IN a chair. Boys! WEEK 7: Day 43: Mommy kissing Beckham and Beckham picking his nose. Every time I held the camera up, he put his finger in his nose. Again, boys! Day 44: It was a gorgeous day in Texas…I’m talking 70’s! We went to the park and played. He likes to play primarily on the outskirts of the playground and run around the field and pond. He keeps me busy, but what a cute little face that is! Can’t wait for little brother to join him as they “dig for treasure” or play soccer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Day 45: Valentine’s Day! Ryan worked of course, but when he got home late, B was still up (surprise). So, he read him a book. If Ryan is home during basketball season, he ALWAYS does the night time routine (bath, book, bed). It’s a special treat and Beckham LOVES it! 9 times out of 10, he won’t say a peep after Ryan puts him down. 9 times out of 10, he’ll scream when I put him down. 🙂 Day 46: The day we found out Baby #2 is a BOY! Click HERE to read about our gender reveal. Day 47: I turned 29! Last year in my 20’s. I posted this picture because I was dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt with my hair in a ponytail! This is the normal me! Anything more than this and I’m being super fancy! I woke up at 10:00am and Ryan and I hung out like we did before we had kids! It was awesome. I’ll post soon about my birthday. Day 48: I thought I should post a picture of something I do everyday ALL THE TIME! Make food for B. I feel like I’m in the kitchen either making food or cleaning up all day long. That’s part of my job though! Pictured – Chobani yogurt, craisins, mini rice cakes, carrots, Dr. Praegger’s Broccoli Bites (in the frozen section of store). Day 49: My afternoon date at Starbucks! He’s wild, but I love him! I love the looks people give me in public when he’s yelling (for fun) and running around in circles, literally! I’ve really stopped trying to tame him…it’s embarrassing me less and less 🙂 A few more pics from Week 7: He’s officially moved up to the “big boy” swing. Started climbing up this tree Two cute little boys looking out the window! This picture cracks me up – Beckham threw his puzzle all over the floor…no big deal. I told him to clean it up when it was time for dinner though. He started and then of course dumped it all out again. I said, “Beckham, you need to clean up your puzzle or you go to timeout.” He looked at me and walked straight over to his timeout spot and sat down. I just started laughing out loud…I’m assuming timeout won’t be an effective discipline for him 🙂 I came back from the store and saw these two coming back from the park. We “raced” home. Our BOY sonogram picture. Ryan was gone, so we went out to dinner with my brother, sister in law, her brother, and a friend. Afterwards, Beckham and I went to Pacuigo for some ice cream! It was a fun little date!
