Day 92: Lunch! Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie…recipe on Instagram (@olivia_snyderstellall). I’m not a big “drink your meal” person, but this is my favorite smoothie!
Day 93: Literally the perfect morning – devotional, coffee, and a quiet house. This was after I dropped B off at pre-school for a few hours, but I’m making it a goal to wake up before Beckham and get in the Word. I highly recommend this book too. I’m reading another of hers now called, Life Management for Busy Women.
Day 94: Soaking it up. Love him! I’m a planner and a thinker…I try and prepare myself best I can and I KNOW that life is about to get crazy with an infant in our lives and I will NEVER get this one on one time back with my first-born! So I’m soaking up each day until his little brother comes into our lives!
Day 95: Chilly Saturday, just me and the little guy! Ryan reffed majority of this weekend so it was just us two! He would live outside if he could!
Day 96: Drum lessons!
Day 97: Just a typical visit to the grocery store with this BOY! Toy aisle = Heaven for little kids!
Day 98: Superhero day at school! I’ve had a lot of people ask where that shirt is from – Mardel’s (a Christian book store). Thanks Mimo for the shirt!
More pictures from this week:
Wednesday we went to the library to return our books and get more “choo choo” books. See that little head peaking out from the shelf? Yes, that would B playing hide and seek with mommy! This kid is a runner…a disobedient runner! He thinks it’s a game when mommy says “come here!”
Then we played outside and this little man was looking for the trash man! I used to be cautious of every little thing he climbed on and then decided to let it go! Plus, I think it enables creativity, strength, bravery, and lessons learned (if he falls).
And homemade pizza for dinner. I wanted to take a picture to share with you guys, but already ate most of it and was too lazy to get up! I used THIS CRUST as the base!
On THURSDAY, I was making dinner when I looked outside and saw this! He was helping daddy pull weeds…love these two! And I REALLY love the fact that I can cook dinner while Ryan plays with him!
Dinner – Chicken Tortilla Soup
About 30 minutes after dinner, this horrible storm rolled in. B was checking out the rain when I got a tornado warning on my phone that said to take shelter in our city! Umm, kind of embarrassing that my kid was playing outside when a tornado warning was in effect! We went inside, turned on TV and sure enough a tornado warning in effect. We stayed in bathroom until Ryan said it was okay. It ended up touching down in the city west of us.
Checking it out after bath time!
On FRIDAY, we went to Walmart to grab several things I needed. We got some light up shoes and he’s obsessed!
Later this same evening, while I was doing the dishes, this happened! This led to multiple time outs and tantrums!
But then he was so stinkin cute after bath time! I spiked his hair and he really enjoyed it!
On SATURDAY, we were driving and I put my hand back there…he just held it! I cherish these little moments.
SUNDAY morning at church, just checking out the puppets!
We went to Gatti’s for dinner and he ran around the games area forever! He didn’t even play anything, but loved running around pushing buttons.
On MONDAY, I had to capture this! When I change his diaper I pretend like I’m going to “eat him up”, as I call it, and he laughs hysterically..but it’s a different laugh. I die every time!
This is a typical afternoon for us…outside! I usually get in a little reading while I’m out there. He likes to copy how I’m sitting! I can’t wait for brother to be old enough to play out there with him!
Our little week in a nutshell! We had a fun date yesterday that I hope to have up tomorrow! Have a great week!

My friend and I just finished reading "A Woman After God's Own Heart" and we really enjoyed it! We recently started "Women Living Well" by Courtney Joseph and we are loving it. We both are Christian, stay at home moms to children under 4, so the topics in these books are so relevant and encouraging in our season of life right now. Weird question, but how did you do your hair in day 94? What product did you use? It looks so cute!

I'll definitely have to check that book out! I love a good book! As far as my hair goes…first of all, thank you! I used to hate my hair curly growing up. Anyway, it's kind of a detailed process, but basically after I get out of the shower, I DO NOT comb it. I flip my head over and run my fingers through it VERY soft…just enough to separate it a little. Then I spray "It's A 10" in my hair and scrunch it (head still upside down, bending over). Then I wrap it in towel, while I get dressed and put lotion on my face. Then take hair out of towel and just scrunch it with gel…probably the cheapest gel ever made. It's L.A. Looks (level 9 or 10…Sport). It's blue. It's really the only product I've liked, but I should probably try other ones too. Then I let air dry, diffusing it every 30 minutes or so until it's dry (probably 3-4 separate times before I go to bed). Air drying my hair is REALLY important because it's really frizzy. My hair takes forever to dry naturally (12-24 full hours), but if I use a diffuser on my hair dryer it speeds it up, plus it makes the curls look prettier. It's so much easier to show people, but that's how I do it. Then I sleep on it and sometimes rub some anti-frizz serum the next morning in my hair if it's a little crazy.
