Life Lately This Week

I’m not gonna lie, this has been a crazy week and I basically took a break from blogging.  Every now and then, real life is super busy and blogging has to take a back seat.  It’s been the boys and I a lot lately.  Ryan started basketball this week which means #singlemama till March.  I also got sick this week, so all my energy went to the kids and completing orders.

We had our family pictures on Sunday, so I went to get Maddox’s hair cut on Saturday.  I usually go on Wednesdays when they have $3.00 off, but didn’t have a choice this week.  Luckily, she gave me $3.00 off anyways since he just needed a tiny trim.  She spiked his hair afterwards and I about died!  I’m a sucker for boys’ spiked hair!

After pictures on Sunday, we grabbed a bite and this guy wouldn’t take a picture with me (he wasn’t very cooperative all day).  But little Beckham looks so sweet in his picture!  I LOVE that he’s getting older.

But those skinny jeans!!! 

Monday, our neighbor brought over some extra soup they had!  Beckham and I paired it with a grilled cheese sandwich!

Monday evening the boys and I chilled outside!  It was so pretty.  They collected acorns and threw them into the street.  B tried to see if he could get it across the street!

Tuesday, my throat started to hurt real bad and I did not feel well at all!  Luckily the kids were at preschool for a few hours.  Here’s Beckham singing “Happy Birthday” to me with the Lego cake he made me.  #itsnotmybirthday

After bath, the boys played and B trapped a bug under that Lego!  This cracked me up because this is what I do when there is a bug.  I trap it and wait for daddy to come home and kill it.  #ihatebugs

Wednesday I woke up and my throat was not as sore, but my head felt ginormous, nose stuffy, and little body aches.  I let the boys play outside before some rain came in.  Then Glenna (MIL) came over to help me out with the boys in the late afternoon/evening since Ryan was gone and I still wasn’t feeling well.  I was so thankful.  And it helped tremendously.  Almost made me want to hire a nanny from the hours of 4-7pm on the days Ryan is gone!

This kid.  He does this face all the time.  It’s his “What’s that?”  “Uh-oh” face.

Yesterday after school we went to check out a McDonald’s (we might have B’s party there now since it’s supposed to rain on his party day…ugh).  I turn around and Maddox was up on the chair just eating some pancakes.  #forgetthehighchair

Really simple living lately.  Seems that one of us is always sick #maddoxmostly.  We have family coming over on Sunday to celebrate B’s birthday and watch the Cowboy’s game! Have a great weekend.
