Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween this year.  Beckham was a little older to actually trick or treat this year.  I thought about a costume a few days before Halloween and needed something super cheap.  I found this idea on Pinterest and it ended up being FREE!  It was oo’d and aww’d over so I guess it was good enough!

He first celebrated at his school with a little fun Halloween snack time at the end of the day!  It was cute to see them all in their classroom sitting like normal people at the table.  They wore pajamas that day instead of costumes, as I’m sure you can understand…a bunch of young 2 year olds in costumes all day…eek.

He LOVED trick or treating!  He got the hang of it real quick but was surprised that people were just giving him candy!  We first went to our city’s down town “Scare on the Square.”  It was a lot of fun.  We met up with my friend Brittany and her two kiddos!  Next year, I am going to plan on going right when it starts and then eating outside at a restaurant and people watch the rest of the time.  A perfect night to people watch!

We ended the night with trick or treating around our neighborhood.  It was neat to see him understand that if the porch light was on, that meant he could knock on the door.  He probably had a total of 5 suckers that night!
