I hope everyone is recovering from Super Bowl Sunday. I have a TON of cleaning on my to-do list today.
First of all, thank you all for the support and encouragement after last week’s post about YouTube. I seriously am thankful for each subscriber and comment. I really am! I actually have a new video for you today (scroll to bottom).
Each year I take a month to document our grocery buying process and how much we spend, what we buy, etc. I will do a separate video of how we do groceries and what we budget, but I’m sharing what I spent for our first week and a half of this month. I buy weekly, but the 1st started on a Wednesday so I decided to go then.
Check out this video of what I bought at Walmart, Trader Joes, and Sprouts (which by the way, was the worst grocery trip I’ve ever had with kids). Maddox threw a tantrum/fit because the muffin he got didn’t taste good (3 years old is fun). Beckham was on his “new phone” (my old one, but always looks bad when my kids are on technology). Brielle woke up the second we walked in the store (she was supposed to be sleeping). She was screaming like crazy as I checked out (like everyone was staring) and Maddox got hit with the cart and had another meltdown as if he was dying (this was simultaneous with Brielle’s crying). I was mortified and was just trying to get out as fast as I could…oh and this was after my kids took suckers from the counter without asking (I paid for them).
Definitely a mom fail, but we survived. Regardless, check out my first grocery haul video. It’s not perfect, but #actionoverperfection. And I’d love to hear what you’re having for dinner. This mama needs some ideas.

Fun to see what you get, especially since you have different stores than I have in my area. I do have to tell you that the music you played at the beginning and end was so loud compared to the volume of the rest of the video.

Thanks for letting me know. I did notice that too and just figured out how to decrease the volume

Your comment that the total could have been a million dollars but you didn’t care and just wanted to get out of the store! Every mom that has been shopping with little ones has felt the same way. Then you get home and discover things that you didn’t even know were in the cart! I’m laughing hysterically because I have spent hundreds of dollars on stuff I didn’t put in the cart! Love your posts and the videos.
