I’m linking up with Erika, Andrea and Narci for Friday Favorites.
I have lots of random favorites to share! I’ll start with my favorite one!
Maddox is sleeping much longer at night. He doesn’t start his long stretch till about 2am, but it beats waking every 2-3 hours. He has gone as long as 8 hours.
I love our downtown. We spent an afternoon there and had lunch. It was so much fun! The pizza we ate…my favorite! And the salsa shop…we got apple butter as well.
Our new Graco Double stroller (Ready2Grow Stand and Ride). I really do love this one and I’m glad I got it. There are so many out there, but this one was functional, can be used for a long time, fit in my trunk, and was affordable. Here we were trying it out.
And here’s us on a walk. Maddox facing me and Beckham facing the front. Unless we are just walking around our neighborhood, I use the infant carrier in the front where Maddox is instead because I’m usually transferring a sleeping baby from the car.
Our new bench in our master room! Love that it replaced the old recliner.
This popcorn is AH-mazing! I found it at Bed Bath and Beyond, but hoping some other grocery stores have it. It has a kick to it, but Beckham was eating it up.
I also found these delicious snapea crisps that are dried. Beckham loves snap peas and LOVED these things. I will pack them in his lunch next week. I got these at Bed Bath & Beyond also, but there were cheaper at Walmart (found them in the produce section near the nuts).
My house smelled like Fall last night when I was baking these yummy pumpkin muffins! My sister-in-law told me about these easy muffins a few years ago and I make them every Fall now. 1 can of PURE pumpkin + 1 spice cake mix = Pumpkin Spice Muffins. Just mix them together using your electric mixer and bake them at 350 for 15-20 minutes (15 for the mini muffins, 20+ for larger ones). Ryan needed these to give a friend who lent him his truck. So I whipped them up real quick and added cream cheese frosting to them.
And one last favorite. I just created one of my favorite signs to date. One for Fall and one for Christmas.
Happy Friday! I plan to have a productive day with just my newborn and no toddler. He’s with Gramma and I’m sure having more fun with her than he would here!

How did you get Maddox to sleep 8 hours straight? I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old. I am in dire need of a consecutive 8 hours of sleep! Any tips you'd like to share are greatly appreciated. BTW I comment using my husbands email acct (John). My name is Janel 🙂

Jane, I follow Baby Wise for the most part and keep him on a pretty strict schedule during day (as strict as it can be with having a toddler). He eats every 3 hours during day and naps after being up for 1-1.5 hours (more on the 1.5-2 hour scale towards afternoon). Even if he's sleeping at 3 hour mark, I wake him up to feed if I can. After about 5:00 he takes only 1-2 cat naps. After his 10:00 (sometimes later) bottle, we put him down for the night. He usually wakes again around 1 or 2…I try to soothe him back to sleep (paci, pat his stomach, rock), but it usually ends up in a bottle 🙁 After that waking up or feeding, he sleeps about 5-6 more hours (he went 8 a couple times). I heard it's really important to wake them up at same time everyday…I'm bad about that, but think it would help even him sleeping through that 2 am wake up. Good luck…it's SOOO exhausting.

Janel…sorry (not Jane). Also, he's exclusively breast fed, but takes it via bottle. He has about 4-6 ounces at each feeding.
