Haha! I had to make this since I’m hit or miss with Friday Favorites. I usually keep a running list on my phone and when I have things worth posting, I finally write a post.
{ONE} SPICE CHIA LATTE:
I am obsessed with a spice chai latte at a local coffee shop in our downtown, so when I saw this, I thought I’d give it a try. I found this at Walmart. It says to add water, but I add skim milk. I heat the milk in the microwave (cause I’m lazy) and then stir in 2 spoonfuls of this mix. I like to drink this in the afternoon. Is that not perfection on a cold, winter day!
{TWO} CHICKEN TACOS:
This is by far one of my favorite QUICK, EASY, CHEAP recipes to make…if you want to call it a recipe. I’m sure you’ve seen this on Pinterest, but this is what I do. Pour a little salsa on the bottom of a crockpot, place a couple chicken breasts on top, sprinkle some taco seasoning (half or so of those packets), then pour some more salsa on top of the chicken. Cook it on low for 5-6 hours or high for 1-2 hours (whenever chicken is white in the middle). Take it out, shred it with 2 forks, and put it back in the crockpot to soak up some juices. It falls apart when you shred it…so easy. Then I’ll throw it in a tortilla with some toppings for a chicken taco. I’ve also added it to nachos and soups. I added some Mexican rice, cheese, avocado, and cilantro…yum! Oh and a sliver of Ranch…I have no idea why I did that, but it was kind of yummy.
{THREE} BECKHAM TURNED THREE:
My baby turned 3! I blogged about his party HERE. I can’t believe he’s 3 years old. A 3 year old and a 5 month old are kicking my tail right now, but it’s all good. This boy is so fun! I’m seeing a personality develop. Eek…I think it might be the “class clown” personality (yet gets very shy in certain situations). His teachers describe him as 150% BOY. He’s the most energetic toddler I’ve seen, super athletic (yes, at 3), and pretty smart. Pretty stubborn as well. He won’t go potty STILL! He tests me every day, at least 15-20 times a day. There are times I wish for a break, but then when I have it, I miss him. I was at the grocery store yesterday when he was at preschool, and the water sprayer came on near the veggies…he loves when that happens, so I was about to say something and remembered he wasn’t there. Kind of sad. He’s my sidekick! Our relationship is super close and I’m blessed to have had these last 3 years at home with him. Biggest change from 2 to 3? Talking! He doesn’t stop!
{FOUR} CHRISTMAS:
This is kind of a given, but couldn’t come at a better time. This is my favorite time of the year! The decorations, the gift giving, the traditions, the commercials, the music, so many acts of kindness, all of it. All because Jesus was born! When I think back on Christmas as a kid, the things I remember most were Christ-related…my parents must have been doing it right.
{FIVE} JANE.COM & GROOPDEALZ.COM:
I found these two websites recently and I LOVE them. They sell items at a huge discount. I actually just sent in a request to sell on Groopdealz and got approved, so hopefully some of my signs will be up on their site soon. Interested to see how and if they sell. I’ve ordered some clothes on there, jewelry, décor, and some Christmas gifts. One of my favorite things that has come in the mail are these leopard leggings. They are THE softest pants I own (light fleece material) and the waist is not tight. Don’t you hate that about leggings?! I wore them on Thanksgiving and they were the perfect pants for the occasion! I was trying to figure out which boot color looked best. I ended up getting a taller black boot for them, but I do like the brown.
I’ll stop here for now, mainly because I need to do one million other things. Ryan has been gone all week (and will be this weekend), but I’m filling up some space with friends and family. We’ll celebrate Christmas with Ryan’s PawPaw this weekend, so that should be fun! Have a great weekend.
I’m linking up with Erika, Andrea and Narci for Friday Favorites. My favorites are really random today!

Okay, so we have similar favs! I love groopdealz and jane – and I'm so glad that your awesome work may be available! I love to make chicken tacos the same way (I add a sliced bell pepper and onion for "fajitas"). So easy and hearty. Finally, I love chai. I'm not a coffee drinker, so it's my go-to hot drink.
Next week my little girl is going to be three – so we have that in common, too. My two older boys are "all boy" – so I can certainly empathize. I wouldn't have it any other way 🙂

We DO have a lot in common. Great idea with the sliced pepper and onions. I'll have to try that. Thanks for reading.

I needed this post…lol. I have been having a lot of impromptu stops at Starbucks on the way home from work due to my Chai Tea Latte cravings…I think I'm going to pick up that chai tea and keep it at work to save $!
I also LOVE jane.com so I look forward to seeing some of your printables on there! 🙂 Yay!!
