It’s Friday and I’m looking forward to the weekend. We actually might be heading to Austin to purchase a car. Tonight and tomorrow morning, I have a MOPS get together so that should be fun. Anyway, this week’s Friday Favorites are random.
{ONE}: BABY/TODDLER/ANYONE CARROT ZUCCHINI MUFFINS
I’ve been wanting some healthy, easy to grab, snacks for the kids. I found this recipe on Pinterest, and these muffins are really good. Both boys loved them and I even snuck a few. I used regular maple syrup because that’s what I had, but you can also use honey. They’re similar to a bran muffin, but with more veggies and moist.
I don’t have a pic and didn’t want to steal it off her blog, but click on THIS link for the recipe and great pictures.
{TWO}: FRIENDS WHO SERVE GOD
I’m so proud of my best friend Brittany, and her husband JR. They moved to Utah to plant a church and spread the love of Jesus, sharing the Good News. They are definitely my favorite. If you’re in Salt Lake City, Utah, you have to meet them. Their church is called Antioch Salt Lake City. They are the most loving, welcoming, friendly people I’ve met. So much fun! Check out their video HERE.
{THREE}: APPLE PIE COBBLER
I combined two recipes I found on Pinterest and created this cobbler with a pie filling. I’ll share the “offspring” recipe next week! It was so dang good.
{FOUR}: GUACAMOLE
This is another “recipe” I’ll share next week. I can’t believe I haven’t shared how I make this. It’s hands down my favorite guac! Can you spot the “different” ingredient?
{FIVE}: NEW CAR SEATS
We got the boys new car seats. They are great and don’t move at all when installed. They’re pretty easy to install too. They’re both Britax Clicktight. I have Maddox rear facing (and usually do this till 2 years), but look at his legs!!! I’ll see how it is in the new car…maybe there is more room??? I have a feeling he might be forward facing sooner than Beckham was. 🙁
{SIX}: DUNKIN DONUT’S LATTE
I had a coupon for a .99 cents coffee at Dunkin’s so I decided to grab an iced coffee when we were running errands. I got the caramel latte (wish I had ordered the light), but it was really good! And much cheaper than Starbucks. I can’t stand their donuts, but looks like I might be getting coffee there.
{SEVEN}: WRITING PRACTICE
So this isn’t a favorite of mine, but I am excited for Beckham to start learning how to write his name. Poor kid has a long name. He can name each letter in his name, but boy, he could care less about writing. He’s not the crafter, colorer, or sit down and do anything type of kid, but I want him to at least know how to write a B. We’re currently working on tracing it. He switches hands, holds the marker all sorts of funny ways, and has such a hard time making those loops. Have any of y’all with young kids started this? Or had any success? I do think he’s adorable doing “work” and I’m proud of him for appeasing me and tracing the letter.
I love connecting with y’all. My Facebook, Instagram(@snyderstellall) and Pinterest.

Dunkin Donuts coffee is definitely tastier than Starbucks in my opinion;) But Starbucks does have better pastry options ha! I can't wait to see your guac recipe!

Can't wait to see your guac recipe soon! I can inhale some faster than I'd like to admit, but have actually never made it myself. I think I may have to change that very soon! 🙂

I love dunkin donuts for their donuts! And I hear us about the car seat and his little legs. I felt like every time I had another baby the "rules" we're changjng. Like when I had Brooke, 23 years ago we put them on their stomach to sleep..and with all 5 I did that even though I wasn't supposed to. I turned all my kiddos around at age 1 in the car seat! And yay for a new car…so fun

I am the same way with Dunkin. Don't care for the donuts but LOVE the coffee! They have a punch card and I can get 10 iced caramel lattes for the same amount I would pay for 5 at Starbucks!
I just found your blog via Erika's btw and I'll be following along!
