Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m excited this morning as this starts the week of Spring Break for me! Even though I’m a SAHM, my husband is a teacher, and he has off this week, which means it’s much more of a break for me. B will be back in “school” this week which means the hubster and I may actually go on a day date while he’s there…sadly one of those days is doing our taxes! đ We have TONS of projects and baby-prepping to do this week. Hopefully, I will feel much better after the week is over and my house/nursery is somewhat organized. Back to the title of today’s post…
I have several random things I have really been enjoying lately and theyâre all affordable! Iâm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share all of our favorite things under $10.00.
Battery Storage â $5.99
I found this battery storage near the checkout at The Container Store. It was perfect for what we needed. Our batter/flashlight draw in the kitchen was a mess! Some in packages, some hanging loose, some in baggies. They have bigger cases in case you have a ton of batteries. On the bottom of each section is a label with what size battery goes in that section standing upright. Can you see the âCâ label?
This is how our drawer is organized now. I really wish I had snapped a before picture.
Handbag Organizer â $11.99
Iâm cheating a little bit here, but itâs so close to $10.00 đ I bought this at The Container Store also. I just blogged about this hand bag organizer that saves my life when it comes to organizing my purse. See how I use it HERE.
This might be the best thing on my list! These are so stinking good! My favorite is the Almond Coco Loco!!! I also like the Nutty for Nana (not shown). I normally wouldnât spend that much on one yogurt, but theyâre just that good and a perfect snack or breakfast, especially if you need to grab something quick on the go!
Chap stick â about $1.50 a stick
This is whatâs in my lip gloss pouch in my purse and the thing I use the most is my Chap Stick! Iâve tried other brands as well that are more pricey and I always go back to this. I HAVE to put this on before I go to bed every night. It would be one item I would have to have on a deserted island!
Toddler Gummies â $6-7 at Wal-Mart
Beckham (2 yrs. old) LOVES these! Each morning he points to the bottle and says âtwoâ since he gets two of them. He NEVER forgets to tell me he needs his vitamins.
Pink Water Bottle at Wal-Mart â less than $5.00
I donât know the exact brand of this, but I found it at Wal-Mart where all their water bottles are. They have other colors too. I love how itâs sturdy, has a straw, has rubber on the bottom so you can hold it without getting your hands wet, and itâs EASY to clean! It holds a little more than 16oz.
Bath & Body Works Hand Soap â $3.42 (7/$24)
Bath and Body Works runs a sale on their hand soap every now and thenâŚ5/$18 or 7/$24. There were way too many good scents to only get 5. I bought these 6, plus another one (Japanese Cherry Blossom), but it was in my bathroom. I use the Lemon for my kitchen right now and itâs SO refreshing! I canât wait to use all these! They come in foam or the liquid soap. These would also make great gifts.
Caramel Macchiato â $4.88 for 50oz. (8 servings)
I saw this at Wal-Mart when I was getting groceries a couple of weeks ago, but couldnât make myself spend $5 on it. Then after several mid-afternoon trips to Starbucks to get this exact drink, I realized I was wasting so much more money at Starbucks vs. just having this at the house. I usually get the grande at Starbucks (190 calories). I compared Nutrition Facts and the one at Sbux is better (lower calories, higher protein, lower carbs, and same sugars)âŚboo! But it sure does beat the price.
This container will provide 3 servings (16oz), making it $1.62 per serving compared to almost $4.00 at Starbucks. Or if you have 8ozâŚ$0.81 a serving. Anyway, itâs a fun little drink at home! And it tastes GREAT!
Hope you have a great week!

Our batteries are a hot mess in my 'junk' drawer too! I will definitely have to check out that storage container. The Starbucks looks delish and perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up! Thanks for sharing!
