Woah! I’m way behind with these posts. I love that I’ve documented a picture everyday this year, but I don’t think I’ll be doing this next year…at least in this format. I rather do re-caps of special things, weekends, holidays, etc. on the blog I’ll use chatbooks to document my “daily” pictures. 2014 has been a crazy year for the Snyders! A lot has changed.
WEEK 45:
Day 316: On Wednesday, we met some friends at Chick-fil-a and I watched this happen. She’s doing a Thanksgiving craft with my 3 year old while I eat and chat (and watch a baby). I just love this company and everything they do.
Day 317: At least I’m good for something.
Day 318: One happy baby right there. Just Maddox and I at the house, as Beckham hung out with Gramma!
Day 319: Mom, I can’t move in this thing. Crazy how we’re back to pants and a T-SHIRT this week. Texas weather is so fickle.
Day 320: He wanted to hang out a little later tonight. He is all over the place in his crib! This has created some LATE nights!
Day 321: There was snow outside a couple of Mondays ago and he’s snuggled under a blanket with breakfast and some TV. Staying at home with my kids (and trying to run a small business) is REALLY hard, but one of my favorite things to do is serve this little dude! Some days are Nutrigrain bars as we rush out the door, but I LOVE these mornings where I make him a yummy breakfast (his request), make him comfortable, and let him watch a cartoon! I hope he remembers these times as he gets older! Oh and the Bandaid is covering a bruise because a Bandaid fixes everything.
Day 322: Last day my “baby” is 2 years old! He’s changed my life so much! And changes who I am everyday!
WEEK 46:
Day 323: My favorite 3 year old! He’s goofy, strong-willed, sweet, and all BOY! Love watching him grow and I’m enjoying him getting older. This kid is my sidekick…it’s been a blessing to be with him each and every day!
Day 324: I had my sweats on, Maddox was asleep, and B had his new trains…we are both happy! If someone could have just come over and cooked dinner and cleaned, I would have been in Heaven!
Day 325: 98% head size, plus a helmet makes tummy time super hard! Proud of my chunk. And his older brother who helps with tummy time! Maddox seriously likes Beckham the best out of anyone! He’s the one that makes him laugh the hardest.
Day 326: Birthday Party! Details HERE.
Day 327: Maddox was ready and happy for his Dedication Day at church! All the babies get dedicated in November each year. I love this picture of him.
Day 328: Officially Thanksgiving break so we had a french toast breakfast! Daddy was home during the day for most of the week! I think he was ready to get back to “work” #itainteasyathome
Day 329: On Tuesday, my mom (who also was off…she’s a teacher as well), came over to help me decorate for Christmas! Ryan took Beckham to do guy things and we got busy. This snowman is one of my favorite decorations.
WEEK 47:
Day 330: Drinking a peppermint mocha, planning Christmas activities and Christmas shopping online. Way to shop when you have kids especially. It was a treat to drink HOT coffee during the day…Ryan was home.
Day 331: Thanksgiving Day! I was horrible at taking pictures that day. We had lunch with Ryan’s family at noon, then we headed over to my cousin’s house to celebrate with my family. They both did lunch this year, so we munched all day and ate more dessert and coffee over at my cousin’s. They rented a HUGE bounce house for all the kids (I think there were 10 kids there..7 of them boys). Brilliant idea…B played almost the entire time!
Day 332: Enjoying outside. I think this little guy is so cute in his hoodie.
Day 333: My little sister (not pictured here) was in town, so we got together one last time at my parents house (they live about 30 minutes away) to hang out and have dinner. My family celebrates EVERYTHING so we getting together a lot. Maddox is trying to drink my coffee!
Day 334: Look who made his debut at the Snyder house with a North Pole breakfast. Beckham decided on the name “Elf” for the Elf on the Shelf. Original right! Maybe Elf will get a name change next year.
Day 335: Dancing/singing Santa at Walmart! This will probably be his favorite “activity” of the season.
Day 336: Cutie! Can’t wait to get his helmet off for good. We go this Tuesday to get images taken to see the actual progress. They’ve already said he would qualify for a SECOND helmet, but it would be up to us if we decided to do that again. We’ll see what his measurements say. Let’s just say it better look jacked up for us to keep going.
November FLEW by! And I can’t believe Christmas is approaching fast. I don’t want it to get here too fast…I love this time of year. Last week was a rough week with Maddox and Ryan has been gone every night for basketball. He gets back in town tonight! I’ve been going to bed around 3:00am each night so I’m looking forward to him being home a little more this week.
