Baby #2. Read HERE about our gender reveal. Let the planning begin! Other
than the gender reveal, I’ve been feeling well, just trying to focus on healthy
eating and getting in the gym! I think that I either am gaining too fast for my
starting weight or my body likes to look like a cow by the end of the
pregnancy! Yes, I know this is vain, but it’s true. I might just accept that
pregnancy is good to me in every way except in image 🙂 So far, I’ve had
healthy pregnancies (minus B being breech), so I will take that.
How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight
gain/loss? 7 pounds total (+1 pound this week)
How big is
baby? Size of a pomegranate. 10.5 inches. Baby gulps down several
ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for hydration and nutrition and to
practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually
work! Studies show that after birth, babies are most interested in tastes
they’ve already experienced through amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what
you want your future child to eat as you prepare your own
lunch.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep?
Great. No waking to pee even.
Fitness? Not last
week, but I’m on it this week.
Best moment this week? Finding
out the gender. We’re super pumped Beckham will have a brother!
Miss
anything? Being skinny! Let’s go breastfeeding!
Food cravings?
Still craving strawberries. And Greek yogurt. Craving soda, but not
indulging!
Anything making you queasy or sick? No, but I
can only eat small meals at a time.
Current Symptoms? I
feel like a big ball of extra something is in my stomach…oh wait, there is.
It’s getting more uncomfortable to normal bending over and exercising. I’m
peeing a ton! Like annoyingly all the time.
Belly button in or out?
Flat.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood? Ready to start
making a nursery for a little BOY.
