How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? 4 pounds total (4 pounds THIS week) – umm yep!
How big is baby? Size of a mango. Caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells now coats baby’s skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. Has become amazingly mobile, passing the hours yawning, hiccupping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep? Going to bed late, but sleeping very hard and still a ton of dreams.
Fitness? Nope. 🙁
Best moment this week? Feeling the baby move A LOT now.
Miss anything? I want a massage. I hate prenatal massages so now I have to wait!
Food cravings? Strawberries and carbs.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Current Symptoms? Tired (probably a symptom of being a mom).
Belly button in or out? In. Pretty sure it’s going to poke out this pregnancy. Beckham did a number on it (stretched it out wider)…lovely!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood? Great! Looking forward to finding out the gender. I feel like I can’t really plan until I know.
19 Weeks Pregnancy #2 Update
Well, let’s just say I gained some weight this week. The sad part is, I actually thought I looked “slimmer.” 🙂 Also, I will be finding out the gender soon! My next update will have the reveal…well maybe. Hubby is still not sure if he wants to find out now or wait until birth. If he doesn’t find out than obviously I can’t say anything. Here’s my reasoning for finding out at 20 weeks instead of at 40 weeks for ME. It’s a surprise regardless. The birth of the baby totally trumps the “gender reveal” at birth. You get to be more excited about the gender for a longer time. You get to plan ahead if you want some things gender specific (we know this is huge for me). You get to have a gender reveal party (if you’re into that). You only have to stress about one gender’s name vs. two. And lastly, I don’t really like surprises, especially if they last 9 months! I thought for a split second about waiting since Ryan wanted to wait and I realized the feeling I had was anxiety vs. excitement. Ok, yes, I have issues! Anyway, here we are at 19 weeks!
Here I am at 19 weeks with Pregnancy #1:

I'm pro finding out ASAP. With both pregnancies I felt like I couldn't really bond with the baby until I could stop calling the baby "it." I think you can convince the hubby to see your point of view. 🙂
